3月26日，在亚洲青年领袖论坛“亚洲的未来”青年领袖交流会上，外交部亚洲司大使于红发表了主旨演讲。

尊敬的各位来宾、各位青年领袖：
大家下午好！很高兴在阳春三月和大家相聚在美丽的羊城，共同探讨“亚洲的未来”这一重要话题。
亚洲青年领袖论坛自2021年成立以来为亚洲各国青年深化友谊、交流思想、增进合作提供了良好平台，有力促进了亚洲青年交流互鉴。应邀出席亚洲青年领袖论坛并致辞，我深感荣幸。在此，我谨代表外交部亚洲司对中国公共外交协会、中国和平发展基金会、广州市人民政府、亚洲青年领袖联合会再次举办亚洲青年领袖论坛表示祝贺，向长期致力于亚洲青年交流工作的机构和人士表示由衷敬意。
青年是整个社会的最积极的力量，最有生气的力量，亚洲和平与繁荣的希望在青年。我在尼泊尔和文莱担任大使的时候，常常出席青年活动，与各界青年广泛交流，看到亚洲青年的活力和潜力而深受感动和鼓舞。青年力量来自于对亚洲文化的深沉热爱和对亚洲未来的坚定信心，青年踔厉奋发是亚洲美好前景的最好注脚和希望所在。
亚洲是全球最富活力和增长最快的板块，但能源、粮食、金融、产供链、气候变化等热点问题多重风险，对亚洲的影响日益突出，特别是冷战思维和霸权主义、单边主义、保护主义给亚洲的和平与发展带来严重干扰。亚洲怎样才能保持团结，怎样才能巩固自身发展和稳定高地的地位，是亚洲青年应该认真对待和深入思考的问题。
继提出全球发展倡议和全球安全倡议之后，总书记最近又提出了第三个重大全球倡议，即全球文明倡议，成为中国为推动构建人类命运共同体向世界提供的又一重要公共产品。这三大倡议与亚洲的未来息息相关，为亚洲的发展指明了方向。
共谋发展是亚洲的第一要务。全球发展倡议强调，发展是解决一切问题的钥匙。各国聚焦发展问题，凝聚促进发展的国际共识，培育全球发展新动能。西方的发展模式并不适用于所有国家，中国积极探索并成功走出了中国式现代化道路，打破了现代化即西方化的迷思，亚洲国家走向现代化将有更多的路径可以选择。亚洲青年要博采众长，发挥聪明才智，大胆创新创造，担负起推动国家发展进步、促进亚洲团结繁荣的历史责任。
共同安全是亚洲国家的必然选择。安全是发展的前提，坚持共同安全是中国基于自身和平发展得出的重要经验，也是实现世界和平与稳定的必然选择。亚洲青年要做维护亚洲安全稳定的主人翁，立足亚洲国家的多样性，兼顾各方利益，以合作包容构筑亚洲共同安全，探索符合亚洲特点和各国共同利益的安全道路。
文明共生是亚洲国家的共同追求，“五色交辉，相得益彰；八音合奏，终和且平。”亚洲自古以来就拥有各种璀璨文明，更难能可贵的是，虽然我们有着不同的文明、文化和民族，但却共享相通相近的价值基础。亚洲青年要传承和而不同的精神，善于求同存异，加强团结，推动人文交流、文化交融、民心相通，让文明共生、多元共通成为亚洲社会发展进步的不竭动力。
各位来宾：
在宏大的历史坐标系中，我们有幸进入了一个各国互通、万物互联、智能互动的新时代。面对百年未有之大变局，亚洲青年要主动作为，蓄势蕴能，使亚洲屹立潮头更进一步。亚洲的发展需要亚洲青年守正创新，注入动能。新时代亚洲青年要勇担时代责任，迎难而上，挺身而出，为国家、地区和世界的和平与发展作出更大贡献。亚洲青年领袖论坛为亚洲青年的相知相交、共同进步提供了新平台。相信亚洲青年将为推动人类文明进步发展继续努力，为构建人类命运共同体贡献青春力量。青年强则亚洲强，亚洲的光辉未来在青年。

Yu Hong calls on Asian youth of new era to shoulder responsibilities and make greater contributions to peace and development
On 26 March, Yu Hong, ambassador of Department of Asian Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, delivered a keynote speech at the Youth Leaders Exchange on “Future of Asia” of the Asia Youth Leaders Forum. Following is the full text of the speech.
Distinguished guests,
Dear youth leaders,
Good afternoon. I am delighted to be here in this spring month of March with you all in the beautiful city of Guangzhou to discuss the important topic of the future of Asia. Since its establishment in 2021, the Asia Youth Leaders Forum has provided a great platform for young people from various Asian countries to deepen friendship, exchange ideas, and enhance cooperation, which has effectively promoted exchanges and mutual learning among Asian youth. I am honored to be here at the forum and speak to you. On behalf of the Department of Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, I would like to congratulate China Public Diplomacy Association, China Foundation for Peace and Development, The People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality, and Asia Youth Leaders Association on hosting this forum again. I would also like to pay my regards to the organizations and individuals dedicated to promoting youth exchanges in Asia.
Youth are the most active and vibrant force in society. The hope for peace and prosperity in Asia lies in the hands of the young generation. During my tenure as ambassador to Nepal and Brunei respectively, I often attended youth events and spoke with young people from all walks of life. I was deeply moved and inspired by the vitality and potential of Asian youth. The strength of the youth stems from their deep love for Asian culture and their firm confidence in the future of Asia. The tireless efforts of the youth are the best testament and hope for the bright future of Asia.
Asia is the most dynamic and fastest-growing region in the world. However, risks in energy, food, finance, supply chain, and climate change have manifested as bigger and bigger challenges. In particular, Cold War mentality, hegemonism, unilateralism, and protectionism have severely disrupted the peace and development of Asia. How Asia preserves its unity and maintains its momentum for development and stability is a question that Asian youth should take seriously and reflect on.
Following the Global Development Initiative and Global Security Initiative, President Xi Jinping recently proposed a third major global initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative. It is another important public product China has offered for the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. These three initiatives are closely related to the future of Asia and have laid out future development of Asia.
Seeking common development is the top priority for Asian countries. The Global Development Initiative emphasizes that development is the key to solving all problems. Countries should focus on development issues, reach international consensus on promoting development, and foster new driving forces for global development. The Western development model is not applicable to all countries. China’s tireless exploration has yielded a Chinese path to modernization, debunking the myth that modernization equals Westernization. There is more than one option to choose from for Asian countries to modernize. Asian youth should draw on the strengths of others while tapping into their own intelligence and wisdom, dare to innovate and create, and shoulder the responsibility of promoting national development as well as Asian unity and prosperity.
Common security is the inevitable choice of Asian countries. Security is the prerequisite for development. Adhering to common security is an important lesson drawn from China’s own peaceful development and is the only choice for achieving world peace and stability. Asian youth should be the guardians of Asian security and stability, considering the diversity of Asian countries and the interests of all parties, resorting to cooperation and inclusion to build a fence of common Asian security, and exploring a security path in line with the traits of Asia and the common interests of all countries.
Coexistence of civilizations is the common pursuit of Asian countries. “Five different colors make greater beauty; eight musical instruments create a harmony.”
Since ancient times, Asia has boasted various splendid civilizations. More commendable is that despite having different civilizations, cultures, and nations, we share similar values. Asian youth should carry on the spirit of harmony amid diversity, seek common ground while reserving differences, strengthen solidarity,
promote cultural exchanges and integration, nurture common understanding, and make coexistence of civilizations and diversity a perpetual engine for the development and progress of Asian societies.
Distinguished guests,
Within this expansive historical coordinate system, we are lucky to have entered a new era, in which countries interact with each other and all things are interconnected and capable of smart interactions. In the face of unprecedented global changes, Asian youth should take the initiative, stay ready, and propel Asia to a new height. The development of Asia calls on Asian youth to innovate while preserving tradition and to inject vitality. Asian youth of the new era must embrace their responsibilities and rise to the challenges to make greater contributions to national, regional, and world peace and development. Asia Youth Leaders Forum provides Asian youth with a new platform for friendship as well as self-development. I believe that Asian youth will continue to push for advancement of the human civilization and contribute their youthful strength to building a human community with a shared future. Asian youth are the force behind Asia’s strength. A bright Asian future lies in the hands of the youth.
