11月27日上午，中国国家传染病医学中心主任、复旦大学附属华山医院感染科主任张文宏在2021亚洲青年领袖论坛开幕式上发表了视频讲话。

亚洲青年领袖论坛是亚洲青年合作和交流的重要平台。最近一年多新冠疫情的蔓延，使我们减少了彼此之间近距离的交流。全球化的进程虽然受到了一点挫折，但全球化的目标却从来没有因此被放弃。人类是一个命运共同体，很多国际事务都需要人类的共同努力和团结才能得以解决。今天新冠疫情在全球蔓延，各个国家都在这次疫情中遭受了损失，也受到了很大的生命威胁，直到今天，全球范围内疫情还在蔓延，并没有得到根本性的抑制。在这种情况下，对于未来，我们希望通过我们的团结，通过科技的创新，通过大家携手实现全球性资源的互补和全球抗疫策略的协同，共同遏制新冠疫情的蔓延，希望人类早日能够免除新冠疫情造成的威胁。

除了新冠疫情以外，其实公共卫生还涉及到多个方面，与贫穷相关的各个公共卫生的疾病仍然在蔓延，仍然在威胁着广大的亚洲以及全世界人民的生命，风险还在不断延续和增加。

在这种情况下，今天的亚洲青年领袖论坛来得非常及时，我们希望这次论坛能够圆满成功。通过这次论坛，我们能够更好地携起手来，为解决未来包括新冠在内的全球性公共卫生问题以及其他全球性的问题做出亚洲青年的贡献。


On 27 November, Zhang Wenhong, Director of China National Medical Centre for Infectious Diseases and Director of Department of Infectious Diseases of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, delivered his remarks at the Opening Ceremony of the Asia Youth Leaders Forum 2021.

The Asia Youth Leaders Forum is an important platform for cooperation and exchanges between Asian youth. Over the past year, COVID-19 has hindered close communication between us. Although the process of globalization has suffered a little setback, the goal of globalization has never been abandoned. We human beings are a community with a shared future. I think many issues need to be solved with joint efforts and unity of human beings. At present, COVID-19 is spreading all over the world. Every country has suffered losses, and lives of their people have been put at risk during the pandemic. Until today, we know that the pandemic is still spreading all over the world and has not been fundamentally contained. In this case, we hope that through our unity and technological innovation, we can realize the complementarity of global resources and reach global cooperation in anti-epidemic strategies, so as to curb the spread of COVID-19 and ultimately be free from the threats posed by COIVD-19 in the near future. 

In addition to COVID-19, there are many other issues of public health. Poverty-related public health diseases are still spreading and threatening the lives of people in Asia and around the world, and the risks are still continuing and increasing. 

In this case, the current Asia Youth Leaders Forum is very timely. We hope this forum will be a complete success and we can better join hands to solve global public health issues including COVID-19 through this forum in the future.
